I am so happy to have made your night. It made mine as well. You are very good at keeping the balance of pain and compliments that makes me feel like "a good sub". ^_^
Thank you for the flattery! <3

So much to say here. Let me begin by giving my own opinion, for what its worth, of the group and its leadership. From the onset of joining, everyone has been friendly and supportive. Communication and information concerning events and rules have been very thorough and clearly presented. Last night I attended my first "play party". I was relieved at how professional everything was handled with consent forms, and rule sheets etc. The yard and surrounding areas were neat and tidy not to mention the dungeon / play area. These things alone speak to me of a leaders dedication to the group, to providing a great place for recreation and attention to detail. All of which are qualities people should look for when making decisions about what groups to join. If I were to show up at someone's house to find a jungle instead of a lawn, or a play space that more so resembles some untouched attic, then I'm going to be weary about getting further involved. Last but to me, most importantly I felt "safe". I was given the opportunity to scene with another member of the group. It was a first time for me, as far as being fully nude and vulnerable around a group of people I barely knew. The leader made sure that the scene was negotiated properly between everyone involved and that we knew our safe words as well as the other rules. Even though I was restrained, I knew I could use a safe word and end the scene if things became too much or got out of hand. During the entire scene I felt confident that Relly and SargentMajor would look out for me and step in if needed. Once the scene was over I was greeted with smiles and blankets and water and helped to a comfy cooling off area. I could not have asked for a better group of people to share this part of my life with. Most of us know all too well the horror stories of scenes gone bad and or drama unfolding either in real time or online within group settings. I don't foresee either of those things happening with this group. I'd certainly recommend this group to anyone who is looking for a chance to make friends in a safe, sane, and consensual environment. To sum all of that up, I think you do a great job as the leader of Kinky Catawba, and I think your play area as well as your household and the other group members are reflective of that. Concerning the “missing elements” you mentioned from above. I agree with you that it would be great to cultivate “real friendships” via fetlife and the local community instead of just hosting parties and beating each other. At the meet and greet you mentioned the idea of having “vanilla movie nights” and other such gatherings which would indeed be at least to me just as appealing to attend as a dungeon party. I concur with the comments made above by cherish about building lasting relationships with people, for who they are, and not solely for what they have to offer. As a leader, no matter your level of dedication and or enthusiasm you can only do so much. It is inevitably up to the rest of us, to meet you half way via our activity and support. I can speak for myself at least and say that I’d gladly offer my services as far as setting up or cleaning up after an event, or anything else for that matter which would be of assistance. That’s primarily why I posted on the group page about “Vanilla Interests”. It’s an attempt to share information, to broaden each others horizons, and if nothing else just get people talking to one another about the things they are passionate about. Its been my experience with life in general, that those who are willing to go the extra mile, are the ones I choose to surround myself with. I notice the little things, and something as simple as SargentMajor asking me for my number in case I had trouble finding my way home from the play party, meant a great deal to me. Simple acts of kindness can go a long way in speaking to an individuals character. So yeah, all rambling aside, you are a good leader, and you should believe in yourself and your potential where the group is concerned. The only limitation to the future is ones own imagination.
