tomorrow is my birthday. today I went to church with jessi, and my mom gave me my boots I asked for (she said I couldn't open them til tomorrow but Daddy said to put them on now, so I did.)

My Nana gave me a shirt, 3 pairs of socks and a hat. It made me realize how much she's considering me older, now. It used to take hours to open my presents from her.

I've been trying my damndest to be happy and cheerful all day, but the fact that no one is reciprocating that is really wearing me down. it feels like it's not even worth it to be happy if no one else can share in it.
