Progress in workshop

I sanded a few necklace pieces, and then spent the remainder of today 

On the LHC paddle.

Before.

After belt sander.

After 30 minutes with 80 grit sandpaper. 

After just doing the front and back with 125 grit.

Dust! 

And the final picture. The entire paddle, even the annoying sides of it have been sanded completely with 125 grit.  

I wore the respirator the whole time.

Now the paddle is ready for the first coat of finish to be applied. Will do that tomorrow, once all that dust has settled. 

Now to get in the shower!
