Oh great. So this paddle is coated in enough glue to rebuild China, too.
Maybe matt's heat gun will be useful in this situation.
Also, my paddle is out here too. It needs a touch up sanding and a few coats of tung oil. Because it's mine, so I should take care of it.
And I cut all of these while I was outside, too. So, these guys get shaped, sanded, sanded, sanded some more, a hole drilled in each, more sanding, and then a few coats of oil, more sanding, and some clear coat on that. THEN they will be ready to put on a necklace, which takes 5 or ten minutes each.
My other pandanus should be dry tomorrow, and then I can sand them with 340, before their hopefully, final clear coat.
And tomorrow I will also be able to work on the paddle some more.
But I will likely be working on the house, because I want it to be really nice for my Master when he comes home. And I still have a lot of laundry to fold, because I haven't done that yet. Can't do it when I'm covered in dust, and I forget to do it before I go out into the garage.
