Date day!

So after my appointment yesterday, Relly Prospect and I had a date day. He took me for ice cream to cold stone (kinda gross actually), then we went to the movies at the theater near my appointment because it was much less crowded than the Charlotte theaters always are and we watched The Hitman's Bodyguard (which was MF fantastic) (decided we definitely want to watch The new Jumanji movie, as it has a great cast that I can't wait to see together, and they all get sucked into a video game, which obviously is an awesome twist for jumanji) and laughed the entire movie because we can't unsee Ryan Reynolds as deadpool. And if you're weird like me, there was a great scene midway through that I'm not going to say anything about other than "mannequins" that was really badass.
Then we went back home, saw a deer in a neighbors yard as we were driving in. We talked to it and it walked closer to the car and then there was a deer in our backyard as well when we got home.
Went back out again for ice cream from a grocery store this time, and on the way home stopped by a grand opening for a local ice cream shop. They told us to come back at 6 when they opened and Relly gave them the biggest saddest pout ever. I think the woman's heart broke a little that she couldn't give him ice cream right away.
So we went to the gaming store a bought a couple of surprise packs of Minifigures and drooled over dice.
Then we went to a couple random stores because we went the wrong way of 485 and decided to wait out the traffic a little. I used my superpower for finding things and directed my husband to something he's been wanting to buy but can never find. Then back home.
I had forgotten about the ice cream store and he took me back there. It was so crowded but when we got to the counter we had no one behind us and got to take our time and really enjoy the experience (they had ginger ice cream. It was surprisingly good. And honey vanilla, as good as it sounds. And I got iced hot cocoa ice cream which was more like dark chocolate and was exactly what I'd been craving all day.) Relly got the Hawaiian roll Panini pressed ice cream sandwich. He got honey vanilla ice cream, with chocolate syrup and Oreos in the middle. It was warm and sweet on the outside and cold and honey chocolate deliciousness on the inside.
Then we went home and took a break for a bit, (he went and picked up some food) and watched critical roll together when it came on live. It was hilarious.

What a great night. And a fun day. And a great adventure.
By the end of the day I felt like we had conquered the world together.

Oh and in the tradition of our planned dates together, the air conditioner broke sometime yesterday, and the entire house has been 78+ degrees since we got home.  (This happened at our date night at tlc a few years back, too.)

What a great adventure! Thanks again Relly!
