I am having problems learning a few of his rules because they were adapted from an old set of rules that I used to have :

My Rules, Jake:
1. i will do my best to serve, obey and respect my Master.
2. i will verbally refer to my Master as "Master" in public/formal events/protocol and "Sir" in all public/nonformal events/protocol. Any written reference to my Master will be capitalized while any written reference to myself will be lowercased to symbolize that He is my Master and i am His submissive.
**3. my band, bio-family, and my work is to come before my training, but it is not to be used as an excuse. If an exception to my rules is needed for either, then i must first receive permission from my Master.
**4. i will take care of my body. i will eat well, avoid greasy food, and drink plenty of water to make sure that i always look my best for my Master. i will wear my collar always.
5. i will not hesitate to respond to my Master or to follow any command He gives me. Such hesitation is an embarrassment, and is disrespectful to my Master.
6. i will always be respectful to my Master, whether He is present or not, for i am eager to please Him at any time.
7. When i am not in the presence of my Master and i have choices to make - i will perform them to the best of my abilities and within the boundaries and guidance He has allowed me.
8. i will not second guess my Master, He knows what is best for me.
9. i will not date.
10. i trust my Master. He must balance His responsibilities, His skills, His hunger and His needs, and His concern for my safety, as well as my emotional, psychological, social, sexual, and physical health.
11. i will keep no secrets from my Master.
12. i will keep a journal of my thoughts for my Master. In it i will addresses punishments, disobedience, and questions i have.
**13. i am entitled to safewords. my safewords are both two part safewords. If i am in a scene and the pain i am receiving becomes to much for me to handle but i don't want the scene to end, i will use the safeword "potat'ers" with my Master replying with the words "and Satan" . If i am in a scene and the pain i am receiving becomes to much for me to handle and i feel as though i am unable to continue, i will use the safeword "pelicans" with my Master replying with the words "and Satan".
14. i will confess to my Master any wrongs i have done, and i will accept whatever decision He makes regarding my punishment.
15. my safeword cannot be used when i am being punished. i must remember that punishment would not be effective if i were able to control it. i must take what my Master feels i deserve. i will focus on the correction of my behavior. my Master will let me know when such treatment is necessary.
16. i will endure whatever discipline or punishment my Master gives me to the best of my abilities so that i may become a better submissive for Him.
17. i will thank my Master for the discipline i receive, specifying what i received, and the reason for it.
18. when my Master comes online, i am to greet Him immediately.
19. Whenever my Master speaks, even when i am speaking, i am to immediately become silent. i must never interrupt Him. If the need to draw something to His attention arises, I will attempt to make him aware in the following manner: By a) brushing/bumping His shoulder, or b) tapping the side of his foot lightly on the outside, but never on the inside.
20. i will not be passive in serving my Master. i will aggressively participate in my exchange with Him.
21. i must always respond fully both physically and verbally to any command that my Master gives me. The verbal expressions are just as important to Him as my speedy physical responses.
22. i will periodically examine my whole life and look for how it has changed as a result of my relationship to my Master. i will speak to my Master about those areas where there have been improvements and those areas where i feel uncomfortable or unsure of what i should do or how i should behave.
**23. i will respect myself always. i am not allowed to speak ill of myself in anyway because i realize that as my Masters submissive, i am a direct reflection of Him.
24. my Master may make exceptions or changes to my rules for any reason.
