week's progress. Patchwork Leather
The past week, I have bought 25 pounds of black leather. At a great price! It's great texture, and I have at least 6 pieces big enough to cut 2 floggers each from. Also I have about 3 long pieces, which I will be able to use for making whips.
So far I have cut 4 squares from the new leather, 2 of those piece meant to be a matching pair. And of course have cut the falls on all four of those.
I had to cut the remaining 3 dowels I had down to 6 inch pieces, because I used all the ones from the week before.
I took pictures of the (total) 15 floggers I finished last week, and uploaded them to my business account. I have already pledged to donate one of those.
I also braided a handle on an unfinished toy from a while back. Still not done, still needs turk's head knots on both ends of the handle. But it's pretty!
Have an idea I want to try out for a quirt, but don't know if I have the right hardware for it. We'll have to see.

progress
As of last night, all 12 floggers for the order were finished.
I had trimmed up the 3 squares of leather to be the right shape.
This morning I am cutting the falls on those pieces.
Then I plan to put the corsets on the other 2 floggers that are close to completion, and maybe cut some more squares and falls.
It felt like I spent all day yesterday waiting on Major to do one thing or another, when honestly I wish I had been working on floggers all day.
He said he wanted to go to the store, so I got ready and then he wasn't ready. We went to lowes, tractor supply, walmart, and subway.
Then I thought we'd get raiding done early because I told him I did not want to try to play right after raiding. I asked the night previous that we not go straight from raiding to playing, because it makes me feel worn out and gives me a headache.
I ate my sandwich and after, I thought we would raid, so i waited on wow for 2 or 3 hours. When i was so sick of wow I couldn't do it anymore, he wanted to raid. So I told him I was taking an hour break, and finished my floggers to 100%.
Then we raided.
I asked him previous to watching 1 episode of my show that he warn me before he wanted to play so that I could get a shower, and try to feel less blah. We immediately started wrestling-ish after raiding.
He talked all week about this. And all day talked about how he needed to go "look up ideas." And then said he didn't have any ideas about what to do to me. I told him i didn't care that much about it being so super exciting whatever. So, with Susy out, he states that his intention is to go get my butt plugs and do anal play with me. I said no, clearly, 3 times. I did not say red, but I did say no, and not in a screaming begging way. We wrestled and pinched each other for another 30 minutes or so and then susy ended up running to the box "safe zone"
He tried to lure her out with chocolate milk, and then said "good night hun" and left.
After about an hour, she came out, took all her stuffed animals with her, and went to bed.
I feel like he was looking for an excuse not to play. It may not be the case, but I feel that way.
And I'm trying not to let that switch flip in my head, because I don't want to lose him as a friend. But this is getting harder. I'm so tired of this continuous buildup to nothing. I wouldn't have minded "nothing" as much if he hadn't tried to build me up to it all week.
Or if we had actually snuggled, instead of laying sideways across the bed in the "you won't be staying long" position.
Because honestly here, how good would it have been for me if he had held me, and told me everything was gonna be ok instead of trying to make some elaborate painful scene when i couldn't even stand to have my nipples touched and made it clear that wasn't what I wanted.
I feel like yesterday was a complete waste of my time and I feel stupid for even trying to enjoy it.

apples don't really keep the doctor away
I got a piece of apple stuck in between my teeth, and when i was flossing to try and get it out, it came out and also a tiny piece of tooth. Honestly I think it's a piece from when i chipped a tooth a long time ago, it always felt like something was there, and now it doesn't feel like that. It's not visible, it was in the back of the tooth... I almost missed it.
So don't freak out, I'm not freaking out, but it is an added stress thing with everything else.
And lots of people contacting me today with questions, wanting a little bit of my time.
And I just feel really overwhelmed by that, and it's wearing me down. Not sure if i can cope.

I found out today that my Nana had a mini-stroke earlier this week.
Last night or sometime today she started getting confused.
I was home alone when i found out.
My mother is pressuring me to go visit as soon as possible.
For myself, I need to take some time. I need to make it to Monday, when Master gets home.
I will not go and "spend a few days" at my mother's house without my support. I will not put myself in that position. As Master said, I am NOT her slave.
I will fall back on my standing orders and use that structure to cope.
I will do mindless cutting of strips and making of leather flogger corsets until I am calm. And then, I will make more.
I am a good girl. This is not my fault.I do not need to feel guilty -- I will not feel guilty for this.
Time to go make some floggers.

The guy who messaged me also sent a message and request to my crafting profile.
Turns out he sells leather for $2.50 a pound. It's scraps, but he says he can get large pieces, and would keep an eye out for what i need. So i wouldn't have to buy a random grab bag and hope for what i want, i would be able to buy -what i want- at that price.
So I may have another leather supplier now.

OK. Just got back from the grocery store. did some grocery shopping, and picked up the superhero version of glue that i use. Groceries are put away, and I have just finished attaching the 2 caps that wouldn't previous stick at all.
So now, I have 6 floggers setting overnight. Back on schedule. Hell yeah!
Time to take off these shoes and go cut some corsets!

Moving the floggers and checking on them once they had sat overnight revealed that two of the caps hadn't set. I think I must have a different glue than what Relly bought me originally, so Major is taking me to walmart when he gets home and I'm going to buy the kind in the checkout aisle.
So now I'm down to 6 floggers with caps that are ready to be corsetted.
So currently

4 rolled floggers with bottle caps, will be ready tomorrow to add corsets (if they all set correctly. Already have a bad feeling about one of these)
3 rolled without bottle caps. 2 of these refuse to set even a little, and 1 is too small.
And the work table in the spare bedroom is set up and ready for me to make corsets after lunch.
Matt won't be back from school until after 5pm today, going to someone's house to do paperwork. So hopefully after lunch i won't take a break until Matt comes home, and then we'll pick up food while we're out to save time. Maybe I'll grab some groceries too. That would be nice. I am almost out of tea bags in vanilla chai flavor.
I also plan to cut out more flogger squares and cut laces tonight as well. I've had trouble finding enough leather, but I think i'll be trying some of the hides i said no to originally and we'll see if those work. (Running out of options for what leather to use. 13 floggers is a lot of leather.)

Today's progress on toys 3/11/15
10 toys rolled and stapled.
8 toys with caps glued on, 2 are too small.
after doing this, i cut one more according to pattern, and 2 more otherwise.
(wool fluff one, and a paddle flogger type)
Had an apple for lunch, so a short break, then took a shower, ate dinner, walked dogs, answered Dev' s questions about leather as much as i could... and somewhere in there (after shower but before dinner and 3rd dog walking) cut the other floggers.
Also have one square cut out and ready to cut the falls any time.
Going to bed later than planned, but after spending probably too much time looking for info on leather, I need a little decompression :)

Today.
Lots and lots of amazing sex today.
Had my interrogation, and anal, and now Master knows where all the food coloring is.
Progress on floggers. I have 6 cut out so far, not nearly as much as I had hoped I would accomplish today.

Watch Farscape with Master while Eating breakfast.
Walk dogs after breakfast.
Begin working on leather.
Master will go get gas for the car, and pack his bags.
1:00 PM Master will leave for the weekend.
I will continue working on leather, only taking breaks to walk the dogs/eat breakfast/lunch/dinner, meals happening at the same time as walking the dogs to minimize breaks.
