- One - This is the same as the military position of attention. That is, standing, feet at a 45 degree angle, hands at my side, in a fist, my thumbs even with the seam of my pants, head up, eyes straight forward, no expression.
- Two - This is my most common position. I am to kneel, sitting back on my feet, hands on my lap, with my head up, to look at my Master.
This is a comfortable position. I am allowed to go to this position at any time. I am allowed to speak in this position unless directed otherwise. I may recover from this position whenever I like, unless otherwise instructed. This position is my safe place.
- Three - This position is very similar to Two. Instead of placing my hands on my knees, they are to be clasped behind my back. I am to lean forward, keeping my head down.
- Four - This is the military position of parade rest. Feet shoulder width apart, hands folded behind my back with thumbs interlacing, also lifted above the small of my back. Eyes forward and unmoving, no smile. No movement.
- Five - In this position, I am to go to my hands and knees and kneel until my nose is an inch from the floor. I then remove hands from floor and place them behind my back. If the chest is supported by the legs or knees, then I am not leaning far enough forward.
- Submit - I am to find a surface of reasonable height, kneel in front of it, bend over this surface and lie face down in this position until released. It can be used as a punishment position, but is also a comfortable and enjoyable one.
- Recover - This is the command to release me from the position I am in, and a command to stand up if I'm in a position I don't wish to leave.
